Justice is not served and in particular victims of crime are not served when cases are lost or mishandled – all too often that is happening in our District Attorney’s Office.

• The 18th Judicial District Attorney’s Office is one of Colorado’s largest law offices. Under Amy Padden it will be transformed into the best law office in Colorado: better training, more effective supervision and a vision of what can be.

• A vigorous diversion program, drug court programs to encourage rehabilitation and a Veterans Court – non-violent offenders who deserve a second chance should be given the opportunity to earn that second chance. Amy Padden will settle for nothing less than an office that is a national leader in Criminal Justice Reform.

• It’s long past time to do away with cash bail – Amy Padden will develop a program to end cash bail without endangering public safety.

• Violent criminals will not only be prosecuted but prosecuted effectively – Amy Padden will demand accountability.
